Kerala Congress (M) may be a state-level party within the Indian state of Kerala. it had been formed in 1979, after a split from the Kerala Congress. Its founder is K. M. Mani.
The party has five MLAs within the Kerala legislature and two MPs; Jose K. Mani within the Rajya Sabha and Thomas Chazhikadan within the Lok Sabha. The faction led by P. J. Joseph is a component of the United Democratic Front (UDF) and therefore the faction led by Jose K. Mani is a component of the Left Democratic Front (LDF). its also a neighborhood of UPA at the national level.This party was a neighborhood of the many UDF-led governments. K. M. Mani was the MLA of Pala from 1965 to 2019.Kerala Congress (M) was formed in 1979 after a split with the parent some Kerala Congress party.Just before the overall election persisted 2011, Kerala Congress fraction of P. J. Joseph merged with KC(M). the sooner Kerala Congress (Secular), which split from P. J. Joseph group and was led by Eapen Varghese, merged with KC(M).On 30 April 2010, another Kerala Congress faction led by P. J. Joseph, which was a constituent of Left Democratic Front (LDF), decided to interrupt away and join the KC(M) to make one united Kerala Congress.It split again and a few leaders including Francis George, Dr. K. C. Joseph, Antony Raju, P. C. Joseph resigned from Kerala Congress (M) and began talking with LDF.
