Pradan Baruah is an Indian politician who has served in the 16th Lok Sabha from the Lakhimpur constituency since November 2016. He won the by-election in November 2016 after the seat's incumbent, Sarbananda Sonowal, resigned in May 2016 after becoming Assam's Chief Minister. He previously served in the Assam Legislative Assembly from the Dhemaji Assembly constituency (no. 113) in the Dhemaji district.

He belongs to the Bharatiya Janata Party. Previously, Baruah was a member of the Indian National Congress, but he defected from the party before the 2016 assembly election, along with Himanta Biswa Sarma.
