He was a member of the New South Wales Institute of Sport and the Bolton Wanderers in his youth.He joined Scottish Premier League club St Mirren on 23 October 2010 and made his professional debut the following day in a 3-0 loss to Hearts. He scored his first goal for the club in a 6-1 win over Peterhead in the fourth-round replay on January 18, 2011. In his first season, he appeared in 18 games for the club, scoring once and providing two assists.
He suffered a stress fracture in his back during the 2011-12 season and returned on December 17, 2012, in a 1-1 draw against Motherwell. During that season, he appeared in 12 games for the club, scoring once and providing one assist.On July 1, 2012, he returned to Australia and signed a free transfer with new A-League club Western Sydney Wanderers.
